TULIA PINTO
Tulia worked in accounting during her University studies and after her graduation in 2001 she joined the Auditing group at BDO. There she worked with some of the country’s largest firms in industries as diverse as petroleum, manufacturing and electricity. After several years of experience she and her family embarked on a new adventure and immigrated to Canada. This proved to be a defining experience for Tulia as she grew to love her new home. She initially utilized her skills and expertise working with Revenue Canada and assisting the Spanish speaking community with tax matters. Later, Tulia moved to industry and worked at the Canadian division of Modern Corporation Inc. in their Accounting Department. There she gained valuable expertise related to business and industry. Returning to public Accounting, Tulia worked for EPR KIELSTRA, one of the leading firms in the Niagara Region which subsequently joined with the international firm Grant Thornton.
In 2011, Tulia pursued her passion to better serve the unique needs of entrepreneurs and new Canadians in her community. Leveraging her collective experience she started her “firm with a difference”, TPM Accounting Services. Today, TPM Accounting Services has grown into a vibrant, successful accounting firm but has remained true to its core principles of providing value, commitment and dedicated services.
The Principal, Tulia Pinto remains committed to her community and has been recognized for many civic contributions and is enthusiastically involved with the many activities of the Spanish community of St. Alfred’s Church.
